Onvert is a way of displaying 3D images and sound within a smart phone based on a unique tag.
It combines QR codes with Augmented Reality to provide the most dramatic designs available yet
doesn't require any programming making it the most accessible way of using the technology.

- How does onvert Work?

Whenever you see the onvert name, start your onvert app, read the unique code by pointing your
phone at the picture - easy! You will then see the 3D content, hear the sound or music and read
the information. Should you wish to, you can then follow the link to the applicable website.
- Why do you need the onvert tag?

The onvert viewer app is a tiny download as the content is not preloaded. When you can the onvert
tag, our servers send your phone only the files it needs, so its not taking up lots of space.
This also enables onvert creators to update onverts to let you see the most up to date information.

- Where can I download the onvert viewer app?

Smartphones and tablets running Android and iOS can install the onvert viewer app by opening
Google Play or the App Store and searching for "onvert viewer". Alternatively
you can get the app from us too.
- How much does the onvert viewer app cost?

The onvert is free to download and there is no restriction on the number of times you can view
an onvert or the number of onverts you can scan.
Each onvert requires a small amount of data (about as large as a web page) to be downloaded
which mobile operators may charge
depending on an individual's contract. Please refer to your mobile network for details on data
charges.
- What devices are supported by the onvert viewer??

The onvert viewer app requires a smartphone or tablet with a camera. The app is available for iPhone 3 and iPad 2 or better
and smartphones and tablets running Android operating systems Gingerbread or newer.
If your phone has insufficient memory or processor speed onvert may not run or will run very slowly.
If you experience problems, please let us know, including details
of any errors, your device and OS.
- Why is my device not supported?

As onvert is a new system it uses some the latest technology to achieve the experience.
Some phones do not have the correct facilities to run the app, or enough processing capability
to display onverts correctly. The good news is that as handsets improve, onvert will become
available to more people.
- Does onvert work on my desktop computer or laptop?

The onvert viewer is an app for smartphones and tablets only. However, creating an onvert is best
done through onvert.com where an in browser preview is shown during setup.
- Where can I get help if I encounter a problem?

If you experience problems with the onvert viewer app, please let us know,
including details of any errors, your device and OS. If you can identify which onvert you were attempting to view, please include that too.
We will aim to get back to you as soon as possible.

- Who can create an onvert?

Anyone with a basic knowledge of graphics editing can create an onvert through onvert.com.
- How do I create an onvert?

It is very easy to create an onvert. Please refer to our tutorials and
videos for step by step instructions and advice.
- Do I need software to create an onvert?

No, though you may prefer to use a graphics editing program such as Adobe Photoshop (full or elements), though there are online editors available too.
- Can onvert.com build my onvert for me?

Pro Package
- Why should I upgrade to a Pro or Enterprise account?

Onverts will always be free to view, but the Pro and Enterprise accounts allow onvert designers and brands to make use of features
including animation, 3D models and video. This service will be public later in 2012.
- Will there be a Pro app?

No, the onvert viewer app will support all the features as they are rolled out, and remain free.
